I learned from a friend two days ago that this year is going to be a rainy one for the country.

Climate change.

(Okay, the first sentence is clearly just a jumping board.)

“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven…”

Ecclesiastes says it best.

About a month ago I asked HIM a question. How come changes happen almost every single time?

This is the answer I got.

So we’d be compelled to grow.

So we’d learn how to adjust.

So we’d be mature.

And be complete.

Not lacking anything.

And so we’d appreciate the fact that there exists One who is unchanging. Him whose love endures forever, whose faithfulness reaches to the heavens, whose mercies are new every morning.

And because of His great love we are not consumed.

Change happens.

Seasons happen.

Life happens.

It goes on.

And we should keep up with it.

Hoping and trusting in the One who holds our lives in the palm of His hands.

Sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.

“Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion,
which cannot be shaken but endures forever.”
-Psalm 125:1
