Quotes from EN2010 – Worship Seminar with Darlene Zschech

Darlene ZschechPsalm 96

There is a peculiar fight that we are fighting.

You step into a spiritual responsibility the moment you step in that platform.

You don’t have to be anything other than yourself.

Teach the things that are close to the heart of God.

We have to declare the authenticity of our battle cry.

Colossians 1:16 – In Him, by Him, for Him – everything was created.

John 4 – Worship in Spirit and in truth

Our reliance should always be on the grace of God.

The Way of Worship – There is a battle on for our worship. We have to worship and serve at the same time.

Worship is not our right – it is our privilege.

We are built to worship.

God is a god of today. You don’t throw away the old but you always have to bring in the new.

Matthew 4 – Even Jesus needed the comfort of God after the battle.

Wealth
Fame
Power/Authority
–the very things that the enemy would use to take people out of the ministry

Always go back to the living Word of God.

What is required of the genuine worshiper?
1. Spirit and Truth
* The most important thing is the truth of your worship.
* Seasons may change but that won’t change the call of God in your life.

2. Imperfection
Luke 7
* God uses imperfect people.
* You have to learn to stand against the lies of the enemy.
* The nations are relying on the worshipers declaring His goodness.
2 Samuel 6
David danced before the Lord.
Do not be limited by your inhibitions. Do not be ashamed. Do not be hungry for the praise of men.

3. Care
2 Samuel 24
* Satan can take away the “care” that we have for our worship.
David – “I will not bring before my King that which has not cost me nothing.”

Value the presence of God1 Chronicles 13, 14
Proclaim and announce His presence.

We do not graduate from serving.

Ephesians 5:19

You’ll never know that Jesus is all you need until Jesus is all you’ve got. – Mother Theresa
The music stuff is easy – it’s the character stuff that’s most difficult to deal with.
Let music do what it was meant to do – to give God glory and praise.
Micah 6:8 – Love mercy. Walk humbly.
Be aware. Be awake.
Areas you have to be aware of:
1. Time
* Busy can be an idol.
* Seeking after God and spending time with His word is of utmost importance.
* If the music of your life is drowning out your worship, you have to change the music of your life.
2. Prayer
Deuteronomy 4
Revelations 8
Psalm 141:2
3. Resources
* You always know what you value by the way you spend your money.
4. Heart (Affections/Passion)
Psalm 19
Psalm 24
Put on the full armor of God.
Announcing the kingdom of God pushes away the kingdom of darkness.

Quotes from EN2010 – Every Nation, Every Campus by Ptr. Rice Broocks

Rice Broocks

Main Text: Galatians 2:8-10

We must get better at communicating with each other.

People like us have been here before.

Why the campus?
* It is the battle ground where minds and hearts are captured.
* It is there where leaders are trained.
* Great movements start in the campus.
* Values are formed in the campus.
* History is altered by those who are in the campus.

The campus is an area that should be given the highest priority.

We have to crack the campus code.

Quotes from EN2010 – The Banquet Table of the Lord by Ptr. Grace Aiyedogbon

Main text: Mark 7:25-30

The table is for the children of God — the children must be fed first.

No matter who you are, you must celebrate your uniqueness.

You cannot be offended and anointed at the same time.

The Kitchen Revelation: Because of what you know, you will be set free.

If the crumbs can cast out demons, imagine what the food on the table can do.

There’s a lot from the table of the Lord .

He will make your vision come alive again.

Whatever you need is on the table.

Stop praying useless prayers.

On the table is a drink from the blood of Jesus. When you drink of it, you will never thirst again.

We eat at the table and then go out and invite everyone else.

Let us call others to join us in the banquet – a banquet of love over hatred, a banquet of victory over defeat, a banquet that is for FREE.
